The founder
Started by a technician, still run by one
Icon Technical was established in 1999 by Roland Parenzee, who came into it with extensive technical and project management experience and has spent his working life in this industry.
That matters more than it sounds. Security is sold by a lot of people who have never pulled a cable, and it shows in the installation about two years later. Every quote we write is written by somebody who will have to stand behind the work.
We keep abreast of the latest technology so that clients receive the right equipment for their specific needs rather than whatever the supplier is pushing that quarter.
Specialists, not a shopfront
We specialise in the supply and installation of electronic security detection, fire detection, public address systems, CCTV, automation and perimeter security, in commercial and domestic environments alike. For homes under construction we also run the wiring and networking before the walls close up, which is by a wide margin the cheapest time to do it.
